I wanna make a game in Macromedia Flash Professional 8 but Everytime I try to code it just never works :( If anyone knows how to make things stop and how to make a button in Macromedia flash professional 8 then please let me know cuz I enjoy games and I wanna make my own one.

This is the code I need:

Make things Stop

Wait until player presses a certain button then play a Animation

Please answer in as much detail as possible cuz.... You need to explain it properly and don't just link me to s tutorial okay?

That's pretty much all I need help with so far and if you know how coding works in Macromedia Flash Professional 8 then just let me know how it works and I'll make my game as soon as possible
